Allium Flavum adds the colour flavour to our early summer garden

Flavum, the name says it all. In Latin, flavum is yellow, gold yellow.  This small, delicate, tassel type allium is a tasteful addition to the garden canvas at a time beds seem to be suffering from being in the doldrums. July is not easy for a gardener, spring displays are ending and late summer drama weeks away.  Allium flavum brings joy with its unusual flower heads, charming metamorphosis and special blue stems.
